Intelligence / Cross-border

India to Dubai is one property decision across two rulebooks.

Remittance, tax advice, Dubai verification, total cash required and ownership operations should be planned before a reservation is signed.

The short answer

An Indian buyer should coordinate current Indian remittance and tax advice with Dubai project, title, contract and operating due diligence. The property choice and the movement of funds belong in one timeline.

01

Start with the money path

Establish who will own, who will remit, the current outward-remittance route, banking evidence, timing and professional tax advice in India. Rules and rates change; confirm them for the buyer's actual circumstances.

Do not reserve a payment schedule before knowing whether funds can arrive in the required name and window.

02

Run Dubai verification in parallel

Ready, off-plan and commercial assets need different source documents. Confirm project or title identity, seller or developer authority, permit, contract, payment destination and the complete cost basis before commitment.

03

Plan ownership from abroad

Banking, property management, tenancy, maintenance approvals, reporting and eventual sale require an operating structure. A cross-border purchase is not complete when the transfer receipt arrives.

  • Management authority
  • Exit and repatriation advice
